We’re proud to share that Shape.tech has officially joined techUK, the UK’s leading technology trade association representing companies across the digital economy — from early-stage startups and growing SMEs to established technology leaders.
As a UK-based software consultancy focused on building high-quality, scalable digital products, joining techUK marks an important step in our continued growth and our commitment to being part of the wider UK technology ecosystem.
We first learned about techUK while attending a defence technology conference, where the organisation’s presence and influence across the sector were clear. It was evident that techUK plays a key role in bringing together innovative technology companies working across software engineering, AI, data, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
What stood out to us was not just the scale of the network, but the way techUK connects businesses with industry experts, policymakers, and government stakeholders — creating meaningful conversations that go beyond networking alone.
At Shape.tech, we work closely with startups and SMEs to design, build, and scale software products. Many of these businesses operate in highly regulated or rapidly evolving spaces, where staying informed about industry direction, policy, and best practice is critical.
Being part of techUK gives us access to:
For smaller companies, having visibility into these conversations — and the ability to contribute to them — is invaluable.
AI and data-driven technology are becoming central to almost every product we build. techUK’s focus on responsible AI adoption, innovation, and practical implementation aligns strongly with how we approach our work at Shape.
We’re particularly excited to engage with discussions around:
Learning from other businesses and thought leaders in this space helps us stay ahead of the curve — and ultimately deliver better outcomes for our clients.
Joining techUK is also about partnerships and collaboration. We believe the best digital products are built when strong technical delivery is combined with open communication and trusted relationships.
Through techUK, we’re looking forward to:
Being part of a trade association that actively supports collaboration makes it easier to build long-term relationships that benefit everyone involved.
We’re excited to get more involved with techUK, attend events, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of technology in the UK. As Shape.tech continues to grow, being part of a community that supports innovation, represents the interests of technology businesses, and works closely with government is an important step forward.
We’re looking forward to seeing what this partnership brings — and to playing our part in the UK’s evolving tech landscape
