How Shape Built a White-Label Hotel Booking Platform and Launched It in 4 Weeks
Smart Stay Club (SSC) is a membership platform that gives users access to exclusive hotel discounts worldwide, often up to 50% off publicly listed rates. Members can recoup the cost of their annual membership with a single night's stay, while AI-driven support and dedicated customer service make every booking seamless.
The challenge was clear: bring this vision to life across web and mobile, ready for launch at a major industry conference, in just four weeks.
Where the Client Was Before Shape
SSC had a validated idea and a firm deadline, but no product. They needed to:
- Launch a white-label subscription platform so corporate partners could apply their own branding and pricing
- Support custom discount codes and member-managed subscriptions
- Deliver a secure hotel booking experience across both web and mobile
With the conference date fixed, there was no room for delays or feature creep. Every decision had to focus on delivering value quickly and reliably.
What Shape Delivered

Product strategy and scope definition
Before writing a line of code, we ran a focused discovery session with the SSC team to define the MVP scope and align on priorities. We identified the features that would drive the most value at launch and set aside everything that could wait.
UX design and interactive prototyping
We designed the full user experience - signup flows, subscription management, hotel search and booking, and the partner-branded portal - and walked through an interactive prototype with the client. Changes were cheap at this stage, so we refined until we had it right.
Cross-platform development with Flutter and Supabase
Using Flutter, we built a single codebase that powers both the web and mobile apps simultaneously. Supabase handled authentication, database, and real-time functionality. This combination meant faster delivery and lower cost without compromising on quality.
White-label partner framework
We developed a streamlined white-label system that allows corporate partners to create branded portals with minimal complexity. Each partner receives a unique URL code (e.g., ?w=SHAPE) that automatically applies their theme, logo, and subscription pricing. This enabled:
- Rapid onboarding for new partners
- Minimal overhead for managing multiple brand configurations
- A consistent, polished experience for end-users regardless of partner
Pre-built modules for faster delivery
Signup, login, and subscription infrastructure were already part of Shape's proven tech stack. Rather than building these from scratch, we adapted our existing modules so the team could focus entirely on SSC-specific business logic - hotel search, booking flows, discount code management, and AI-enhanced support.
Deployment to production
We handled the full deployment - infrastructure configuration, environment setup, and release management - so SSC launched on time and with confidence.
